Rehab Day 2

Today is the second day of aggression solving issues, between my two males! Last night, both dogs slept in their crates, nice and quiet, no growls, no snarls... at each others.

This morning, both were calm and relaxed! We started of with 5km run, with each dog, this time separately. After a short rest, we went for 2 hours walk all together... each dog on each side of my leg. Half way into the walk, I let Tyson, come  from behind of Nero, and join him on my left side! No agression at all! However, the aggression will start to show during a left turn, the sharper the turn, the more intense aggression from Nero! I've worked on that, for almost 45 minutes! After all my attempts, to try and fix it..Nero gave up...sharp left and right turns, all done without any aggression, whatsoever!

First time next to each others, showing tension and a bit avoidance
No tension during feeding, both eating without hesitation
Before and after walks, both still placed on the side, and not allowed to get up, until totally relaxed. Both learning to sit at the doors, and wait until called, to step out..no aggression during this, but still a little bit of a tension, in the air! For the first time, I have made them sit, and wait for their drink, at the door...To my surprise, both were looking up at me, without saying a word to them, and finished them, in peace..:). We still have evening walk, to look forward to, and a feeding...will come back, with more updates later....

Evening walk went great!!!!  Step 1...no further signs of aggressions towards each others, during the walk with both dogs on the same side of the leg!!!!
Step 2..no aggression during left and right turns, either..what a progress!!!  Love you, boys!!!!
No problems during feeding...:). Both in the crates now, ready to tuck in, for the night!!!!

I haven't been showing any affection at all, towards my dogs, during this pack structure training program...it's tough, not to give them a cuddle, but ..we all need to work hard, to deserve one...:). xx
